Hi, I'm Jessie
Welcome to The Daily Divergent. I'm a neurodivergent uni student documenting the unfiltered reality of navigating higher education, managing sensory overload, and finding joy in everyday chaos.

Why I started The Daily Divergent
When preparing to start university, I searched everywhere for relatable advice tailored to neurodivergent students, but there was almost nothing out there. I decided to build the space I needed myself. Here, I openly share everything: surviving meltdowns, building routines, tackling lectures, and creating a supportive community where nobody has to mask.

Safe foods, hyperfixations, and daily comforts
If you want to know what makes me tick, look no further than axolotls, fantasy dragons, Marvel marathons, and my trusty triple extra large oodie. Surviving busy uni weeks means relying on simple comforts, especially safe foods like pizza and bagels, alongside endless hours spent reading and writing.

Stories, writing, and future books
Beyond blogging about daily university challenges, writing stories is my ultimate passion. I want every neurodivergent reader here to feel seen, understood, and supported. Keep an eye on my blog updates and social pages to find out when my upcoming book releases and join the journey from draft to print.
My current book project & writing tracker
I’m currently writing a romantasy novel that explores neurodivergence, magic, enduring friendships, and mythology. Called the price of love.
